Mad Scientist

On-Campus

This is an opportunity for students to explore the internal and external anatomy of an animal.
Students, with the guidance and supervision of a staff member, will learn the skills needed to
successfully dissect an animal. Students will discuss how the different parts help the animal
function and make comparisons to the anatomy of the human body. Typical dissections are of
sharks, fetal pigs, and squid.
